Investors can now apply for their claims online through this user-friendly platform. However, before proceeding with the refund application, investors must ensure that their Aadhaar card is linked to their mobile number and bank account. Once the application is submitted, the money will be credited to their bank accounts within 45 days.
Notably, if the claim amount exceeds Rs. 50,000, it is mandatory for the depositor to provide PAN card details. As per the Sahara Refund Portal’s guidelines, any claim amount exceeding Rs. 50,000 will require PAN card information.

In case investors do not possess a PAN card, they must apply for one immediately, as it is essential for claims exceeding Rs. 50,000. The Permanent Account Number (PAN) serves as a ten-digit alphanumeric ID issued by the Income Tax Department and is crucial for various financial transactions.
For Sahara depositors, the refund process varies based on the amount deposited. Investors who have deposited Rs. 10,000 or more will receive Rs. 10,000 as the first installment of payment, with the subsequent refund amount increasing accordingly.
Important Requirements: Aadhaar and PAN Card Details for Sahara Refund Portal
To initiate the refund process, depositors need to visit the official Sahara Refund Portal at https://mocrefund.crcs.gov.in/. There, they will need to provide their 12-digit membership number, last 4 digits of their Aadhaar number, and the mobile number linked to their Aadhaar (for receiving the OTP). After filling in the required claim details, depositors must complete and sign the claim form, attach their photographs, and upload the necessary documents, including the PAN card photo. Once the form is submitted along with all required documents, the refund process will be initiated.
