New Delhi: Pandit Vishnu Rajoria, who is the president of Parshuram Kalyan Board in Madhya Pradesh, has announced that Brahmin couples who bear four children, will be given Rs 1 lakh as reward. Rajoria has been given state cabinet minister rank in the MP cabinet.
Rajoria made the controversial when he was addressing a gathering of Brahmin community in Indore. He also said that the Parshuram Kalyan Board is also doing a survey to financially assist needy girls for entrance exams like IIT, IIM and NEET.
“Heretics have increased”
“The number of ‘heretics’ have increased as we have stopped on families. Youngsters are our best hopes. Younger people are responsible for the future generation. Young people just settle down after one child and this is getting problematic. Our young people must have at least four children,” a report in NDTV quoted Rajoria as saying.
Rajoria later announced Parshuram Kalyan Board would give Rs 1 lakh reward for those couples who would have four children. He also said that the board would continue to give financial reward whether he is the president or not.
He also urged the youngsters not to drag their feet when it comes to bearing children. “I was told by some young people that the cost of education has become more, but I would urge them to manage for some time,” Rajoria stated further.
