The vehicles passing the Gurugram’s Golf Course Road and hitting the invisible speed breaker can be seen jumping in the air and hitting the ground again. Many people slammed the concerned authorities for their negligence. They blamed Gurugram Traffic Police and administration for this.
Wide speed breaker, but no marking for visibility
The speed breaker is about 10 to 12 feet wide and about 7 to 8 inches high from the ground surface. After TV9 team reached the spot and reported the incident, barricades were installed near the speed breaker by DLF staff. Commuters are anguished that the district administration or Gurugram Traffic Police have not installed any warning sign or reflectors or white strips on the speed breaker which makes it invisible, especially during night hours. A video of the speed breaker was shot around 5 days ago and went viral on social media.

The social media user, who shot the video, said that he captured the incident when he was travelling in his car at around 1:30 in the night and his car jumped high in the air due to the speed breaker. After this, he decided to shoot a video of the spot and share it with commuters and concerned authorities to warn them. In the video, which is only 30 seconds long, two vehicles – a white BMW car and a dumper truck – were seen jumping in the air and hitting the road again with high impact.
The video instantly sparked concerns regarding commuters’ safety on the stretch. After the video garnered attention, a DLF employee said that the speed breaker was made about 5 days ago and they are erecting barricades around it to avoid any accident.
