New Delhi: Social media users slammed Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and batter Virat Kohli after yet another flop show by the duo in the fourth innings of the Pune Test. While Rohit was out after scoring just 8 runs off 16 balls, Kohli stood on the crease for 40 deliveries but struggled to score runs, finally departing for just 17.
Chasing 359 runs to win, India lost half of their side at a score of 147, needing 212 more runs to win the crucial encounter at the MCA stadium. In the two Test matches against the Kiwis, the experienced duo of Rohit and Kohli have just showed up in one innings, failing in the rest three. The star Indian players have miserably failed to stand firm on the occasions when their team needs them.
