New Delhi: There has been a wave of speculations over the absence of Abhishek Bachchan at Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s cousin’s birthday bash. Many connected it to the viral divorce rumours swirling around the couple for months now. However, the real reason is far from what was speculated.
Earlier in the day, reports emerged that Jaya Bachchan’s mother Indira Bhaduri was admitted to a hospital in Bhopal for a spine-related issue and is doing fine. She is 94. It happens to be that Abhishek Bachchan flew to Bhopal on Tuesday, October 22, late at night to be with his grandmother.
Why did Abhishek miss Aishwarya’s family gathering?
A source close to Abhishek Bachchan confirmed that the actor is in Bhopal to take care of his nani Indira Bhaduri, who has been facing age-related health issues. The Bachchan family is known for family bonds and reportedly, Abhishek and Shweta Nanda, both are very close to their grandmother.
Earlier in the day, Aishwarya and her daughter Aaradhya’s pictures surfaced on social media from the birthday bash of the actress’ cousin. It also featured Aishwarya’s mother along with other family members.
