Several brands are on the verge of introducing their next-gen smartphones with the flagship level chipset. Instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, Qualcomm is planning to introduce its next-generation flagship mobile processor Snapdragon 8 Elite during the Snapdragon Summit. From OnePlus 13, Xiaomi 15, and iQOO 13 to the Honor Magic 7 series, all the upcoming devices are expected to be powered by the new Snapdragon chipset. However, the latest report suggests that not the iQOO 13 or the Onelus 13, but this Realme phone will be the first to introduce the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset in India.
As per the tipster Yogesh Brar, the Realme GT7 Pro, which is all set to launch in China this month, will be the first Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered phone in India. This is surprising, as usually iQOO’s flagship models usually bring the flagship processor experience to the country. Last year, the iQOO 12 was the first device to bring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset experience. The Realme GT7 Pro is expected to launch in mid-November in India just before the iQOO 13 launch.
Realme GT7 Pro: What To Expect
Based on the teasers and leaks, the Realme GT7 Pro is expected to have several impressive features apart from the powerful processor. It may feature a large 6.7 or 6.8-inch curve display with 2000 nits peak brightness. Moreover, it may pack a massive 6500mAh battery with the support of 120W fast charging. If this comes true, this will be even bigger than the tipped OnePlus 13 battery of around 6000-6100mAh. Not just that, 6500mAh will also be the largest on any Realme phone.
For photography, the Realme GT7 Pro may also include a 50MP Sony IMX906 wide camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope camera with 3x optical zoom. On the front, it may get a 32MP selfie camera. One of the exciting teasers suggests it to be working under the water! Leaks also suggest that it may have an IP68 or IP69 rating against dust and water resistance.
