Hyderabad: In response to notices from the Mokila Police, Raj Pakala filed a petition at Telangana High Court and requested protection from an alleged illegal attempt to incriminate him in a criminal case, tv9 telugu reported.
Pakala, the brother-in-law of BRS leader KT Rama Rao, said in his petition that the police are trying to arrest him without a valid reason and asked for an order to stop them.
In a case filed by the Mokila police, he was named the main accused under Telangana Gaming Act and Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) along with Vijay Madduri, who tested positive for Cocaine consumption.
The case will be heard by Justice Vijayasan Reddy after lunch on Monday. His lawyers will argue that police’s actions violate his rights in addition to being unfair.

In an early morning raid on Sunday, Narsingi Police, SOT, and Excise officials targeted a farmhouse in Janwada under the jurisdiction of Mokila Police Station, on information of a rave party being held there.
