New Delhi: Kagiso Rabada is proving to be magnificent as ever in the ongoing Test series against Bangladesh. Rabada, who recently claimed the milestone of 300 Test wickets, clean bowled Bangladesh batter Mushfiqur Rahim with an absolute beauty on Wednesday. The Proteas pacer took his tally to four wickets with this scalp.
The overcast conditions at the stadium are proving to be helpful for the South African pacers, especially Rabada, who is seen to be utilising theses conditions to the best of the availability. Meanwhile, Mushfiqur completely failed to gauge the classic delivery and departed for 33 runs off 39 balls. In the 32nd over of the match, Rabada bowled a full-length ball, that turned out to be an in-swinger angled towards the stumps.
Rahim clueless about the delivery
Rahim made an attempt to push the ball to the mid on but ended up missing it. The ball ran through him between the massive gap between the bat and pad striking into his stumps. The delivery was so much impactful that it uprooted the middle stump of the Bangladesh batter.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh ended the day at 283/7 in 85 overs, taking a lead of 81 runs over the South African side. South Africa has scored 308 in the first innings while the hosts got bundled out for a paltry 106 runs. Rabada, in the first innings, became the sixth South African bowler to reach the milestone of 300 in the longest format of the game.
The list includes veteran players like Dale Steyn, Shaun Pollock, Allan Donald, Makhaya Ntini, and Morne Morkel. With two days of play still left in hand and the Proteas is a strong position, Bangladesh will have to produce magic to secure or save the opening game of the series.
