New Delhi: Allu Arjun’s highly-anticipated Pushpa: The Rule aka Pushpa 2 has created massive buzz and for all the right reasons. Fans have flooded social media with speculation over its new release date. Well, the confusion seems to end now because the makers of Pushpa 2 have revealed the brand new premiere date for the film.
Stylish star Allu Arjun took to his official X (formerly Twitter) to drop a fresh poster of his upcoming film with Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. In the intriguing poster, AA is seen standing in front of a pile of note bundles. He is seen smoking a pipe whilst holding a revolver in his hand.
Pushpa 2 release date
Well, the poster of Pushpa: The Rule also features a fresh release date. Earlier the film was supposed to clash with Vicky Kaushal’s historical drama Chhava on December 6. Now, as per the official announcement, Pushpa 2 will be released on December 5.

Pushpa 2 budget and cast
The buzz around Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 is palpable considering the massive success of its first installment Pushpa: The Rise. Notably, the film has been made on a whooping budget of Rs 500 crore. The film stars Allu Arjun with Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil and is directed by Sukumar.
Additionally, rumours are rife that Bollywood diva Shraddha Kapoor will perform an item number in Pushpa 2. However, there is no official announcement made on the same yet.
Pushpa 2 pre-release business
Days before its grand release on December 5, Pushpa 2 has amassed a huge collection. Reportedly, the film amassed a whopping sum of Rs 1085 crore. This incredible feat marks a record-breaking deal and one of the most profitable films deals India has ever seen. Theatrical rights alone have been sold for a staggering Rs 640 crore. Meanwhile, the film has struck one of the biggest digital deals to date, with Netflix acquiring the rights for Rs 275 crore.
Looking at the overall pre-release business of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule, the film has collected Rs 220 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Rs 200 crore in the North, Rs 50 crore in Tamil Nadu, Rs 30 crore in Karnataka, Rs 20 crore in Kerala, and Rs 140 crore in the overseas markets. Additionally, the music rights have been sold for Rs 65 crore, and satellite rights have been sold for Rs 85 crore. The film has earned Rs 425 crore from its non-theatrical rights.
