Fourth reshuffle of the AAP government’s Cabinet
Earlier, four ministers—Chetan Singh Jouramajra (public relations, defence services, and horticulture), Anmol Gagan Maan (tourism and investment promotion), Balkar Singh (local government and parliamentary affairs), and Bram Shanker Jimpa (revenue)—were removed from the Cabinet. With these changes, the strength of the Cabinet has increased to 16, including the chief minister. Under the current system, the Cabinet can have up to 18 ministers.
The reshuffle took place just days after AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal was granted bail by the Supreme Court in the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy case and subsequently released from Tihar Jail.
