Mumbai: Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has signed the first file on granting Rs 5 lakh aid to a Pune man from Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The development comes shortly after Devendra Fadnavis took oath as Maharashtra CM at Mumbai’s Azad Maidan on Thursday evening.
The Rs 5 lakh assistance has been granted to a patient named Chandrakant Shankar Kurhade from Pune.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis chaired the first cabinet meet after taking oath as Chief Minister and signed the first file regarding aid from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
The Chief Minister has given instructions on the file to provide Rs 5 lakh assistance to a patient from Pune, Chandrakant Shankar Kurhade, from the CM Medical Assistance Fund.
Chandrakant Kurhade’s wife had requested financial assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for bone marrow transplant treatment.
