Students protest after insect found in milk
The students of the school who live in the hostel, are served milk everyday. But when a live insect was found in the milk packet there was a hue and cry on campus. The students expressed their anger and frustration at the hostel administration.
A similar kind of incident had happened around one and a half months back when a live insect/larvae had been found in the food served to the students in this very hostel. An organisation called ‘Birsa Brigade’ has questioned these incidents. They said that the administration was playing with the lives of the tribal students.
The project officials, when questioned about the incident, accepted that indeed an insect had been found in the milk. Samples of this tetra pack milk have now been sent to the Tribal Department and Pune Food and Drug Department for testing.
