New Delhi: In an apparent own goal, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi slammed her own party’s government in Himachal Pradesh while talking about the plight of the farmers in the state. The Wayanad MP delivered her first speech in the Parliament on Friday.
Hitting out at her party’s government in the state for one person. The government has given all cold storage to Adani, due to which the apple growers in the state are left crying. “Even as one person is being favoured, 142 crores citizens are being ignored in the country. All businesses including railways, airports, and ports are being given to one person,” she said in her maiden speech.

Sharing her video, BJP IT chief Amit Malviya wrote on X, “Priyanka Gandhi criticized the Himachal Pradesh government, seemingly unaware that her party, the Congress, is in power there. This isn’t driven by any noble intent—it’s just another example of her lack of awareness, much like her brother Rahul Gandhi. The political circus has only just started.”
