In a significant employment initiative, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to virtually distribute appointment letters to 51,000 new government employees during the Rozgar Mela on September 26, 2023. These appointments encompass various ministries and government departments, including the Department of Post, Ministry of Defence, and more.
51,000 Government Jobs with Appointment Letters on the Horizon
The Rozgar Mela is being organized at 46 centers across the country, allowing newly appointed individuals to access training opportunities through the Karmayogi Prarambh portal. This portal offers over 680 e-learning courses, enabling skill development from anywhere and on any device.
The “Employment Fair” campaign, initiated by Prime Minister Modi on October 22 last year with the aim of providing 10 lakh government jobs, has been instrumental in distributing job letters to 5.5 lakh youth since its inception.
