New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Rajasthan and Haryana to inaugurate several projects in these two states. It will be his second visit in Haryana since participating in the oath ceremony of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini who recently took oath for the second consecutive time.
After reaching Jaipur this morning, the prime minister will inaugurate the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024. After this, he will reach Panipat and launch LIC’s Bima Sakhi Yojana. He will also lay the foundation stone of the main campus of Maharana Pratap Horticultural University.
PM Modi will inaugurate an investment summit in Rajasthan
The investment summit in Rajasthan will be held under the theme ‘Replete, Responsible, Ready’. The event will also host 12 sessions on the themes of sustainable mining, water security, inclusive tourism, sustainable finance, agri-business innovations and women-led Startups, among others. Apart from these sessions for eight countries will also be held with participating countries on the themes like ‘Water Management for Livable Cities’, ‘Versatility of Industries- manufacturing and Beyond’ and ‘Trade & Tourism.’
LIC’s Bima Sakhi Yojana in Haryana is in line with His government’s commitment towards the empowerment of women as well as financial inclusion. The ‘Bima Sakhi Yojana’ has been designed to empower women aged who are between the age group of 18 and 70 years. Under this programme, the women will receive specialised training as well as a stipend for the first three years to promote financial literacy and insurance awareness.
University to have college on horticulture
The university, which will be inaugurated by PM Modi will have one College of Horticulture for Graduate and Post-Graduate studies. It will also have five schools which will cover 10 horticulture disciplines.
