New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to kick off the Bharatiya Janata Party’s national membership campaign, ‘Sanghatan Parva, Sadasyata Abhiyan 2024,’ alongside the party’s National President JP Nadda on Monday at the BJP Headquarters in Delhi. Home Minister and senior party leader Amit Shah said that today is a significant and auspicious day for all supporters and members of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
“Today, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and National Party President Shri JP Nadda ji will inaugurate our party’s membership campaign. BJP is the largest and most dynamic party in the world. Unlike other political parties in India’s democratic landscape, our party stands out as a party of dedicated workers,” Shah said in a video message on X.
Amit Shah urges citizen to join BJP
He added, “For us, the organisation is not merely a formality on paper, but the very essence and spirit of our party. Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in our organisation with the launch of the membership drive.” He concluded, “I call upon all BJP well-wishers, citizens of the country and party workers to join the BJP once again and contribute to taking our organisation to greater heights.”
Among the various methods available to join the party, PM Modi is expected to choose the missed call option. Following his lead, many senior party leaders will also enroll for membership, initiating a large-scale organisational effort set to continue over the next two months.
Join via missed call or NaMo app
BJP, recognised as the world’s largest party, has introduced a phone number—8800002024. A missed call to this number allows leaders, workers and volunteers to become members of the party. Alternatively, the NaMo App provides another way for people to join or renew their membership with the party. It should be noted that that BJP National Secretary Vinod Tawre recently said during a press conference the reasoning behind the party’s membership drive, which is conducted every five to six years.
