New Delhi: In an act of appreciation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently penned a personal letter to Diya Gosai, a young artist from Vadodara, acknowledging her talent and expressing gratitude for her artwork presented during his recent roadshow.

The meeting that resulted in this remarkable correspondence between PM Modi and Divya took place on October 28th during a roadshow in Vadodara. During the roadshow, Divya, with a mix of excitement and apprehension, presented Prime Minister Modi and Spanish President Pedro Sánchez with hand-drawn portraits.
Amid the energetic crowd, she bravely approached the leaders, hoping to share her artistic creations. Her efforts were rewarded beyond her expectations; both dignitaries personally accepted her sketches.
In his letter, Prime Minister Modi expressed sincere delight in receiving Diya’s artwork, specifically mentioning the portraits of himself and President Sánchez. He conveyed that President Sánchez was equally impressed by her work. “It was an indescribable joy to receive the beautiful picture gift from you during the Vadodara roadshow,” he wrote.
Beyond personal appreciation, the Prime Minister’s letter carried a significant message of encouragement for Diya’s future endeavours in the field of fine arts. He urged her to pursue her passion, commending her dedication and artistic skill. Furthermore, he extended warm wishes to her and her family for Diwali and the Vikram Samvat New Year. “I am confident that our youth will play a leading role in building a Viksit Bharat,” PM Modi wrote.
