Millions of farmers across the country have benefited from the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. However, it has been observed that the number of farmers receiving each installment under this scheme is decreasing. If you are yet to receive the benefits of PM Kisan, it’s crucial to update your documents promptly. Any errors in your documentation could jeopardize your participation in the PM Kisan Yojana, which has so far disbursed 14 installments. To ensure you receive the 15th installment, swift action is necessary.
While the government has not officially announced the date for transferring the 15th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, it is expected to take place in November or December. Under this scheme, farmers receive Rs 6,000 annually, distributed in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each, every four months.
Here are the essential steps to secure your benefits under the PM Kisan Yojana
E-KYC: To prevent fraudulent claims, e-KYC (electronic Know Your Customer) is now mandatory for PM Kisan Yojana beneficiaries. Without e-KYC, accessing your benefits can become challenging. Farmers can complete their e-KYC through OTP verification on the official PM Kisan website (pmkisan.gov.in), at Common Service Centers, or by using the newly launched mobile app designed for e-KYC.
Land Verification: Beneficiary farmers under the PM Kisan Yojana should own 2 hectares of land or less. To establish land ownership, farmers must upload their land documents on the PM Kisan website. Following document verification, Agriculture Department officials will conduct physical inspections of the land.
Link Bank Account with NPCI and Aadhaar: Ensure that your bank account is linked with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and Aadhaar. This linkage is essential for receiving the 14th installment. When Aadhaar is linked to the bank account, accurate information reaches the government, and subsidy funds are disbursed on time.
