New Delhi: The defending Champions Puneri Paltan played out their first tie match in this season, while Bengal Warriorz played their second tie in this PKL season and in the second match of the night, Bengaluru Bulls defeated Dabang Delhi K.C. at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad on October 29, Tuesday.
Paltan and Warriorz ended the match with 32-32, it was the second consecutive tie match for the Warriorz in this season. Warriorz skipper Fazel Atrachali also created history in the match as he becomes the first player to score 500 tackle points in PKL history. In the first half of the match, both teams were playing out defensively and didn’t take any risk. From Paltan’s side Mohit Goyat was leading the team with three-point lead in the end of first half of the match.
In the second half of the match, it was the Warriorz raider Praveen Thakur who stormed on the Paltan’s defense and gave one point lead to his team. The defending champions fought back in the last minutes of the game as Akash Shinde and Abinesh Nadarajan turned the table for Paltan and gave them a healthy five-point lead again.
In the last 2 minutes of the match, the game was heated up and Fazel also completed his 500th tackle point by tacking Goyat. Paltan landed an all-out on Warriorz in the last minutes but in response, Warriorz’s Sushil Kambrekar fired up and made his Super-10 and gave his team again one point lead. However, Paltan turned the table again and levelled the things in the last moment and match was ended in a tie with a scoreline of 32-32.

Bengaluru Bulls draw first blood in PKL 11
Bengaluru Bulls draw the first blood this season as they won their first match of the season against Dabang Delhi K.C. at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad on October 29, Tuesday. Delhi’s star raider Naveen wasn’t playing in the match but they started the match well. Delhi was commanding in the match as they landed an all-out early in the match and led the match 13-7 in the first half. Ashu made another Super 10 in the match and Delhi was leading 22-14 at teh end of the first half.
Bengaluru started the second half well and scored four consecutive points and reduced the lead to four points. Delhi’s defense was well prepared for Pardeep Narwal and didn’t give him any chance in the match. Delhi was leading in the second half also but the Bulls made a spectular comeback in the last moments of the game.
Jai Bhagwan led the side and pushed Delhi to an all-out and reduced the deficit and took a one-point lead. Ashu equalised the score by scoring a bonus point, In reply, Bhagwan also scored a bonus point and gave his team another lead, and then Ashu was tackled in the next raid and the Bulls sealed the match and won their first match in the PKL season 11.
