Ayodhya: The Ram Lalla is all set to celebrate its first Diwali since the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The devotees are eager to see how the Temple and Ram Lall are decorated for the occasion. With the festival of lights just two days away, the excitement for the festival is already in the air in the holy city.
According to Dainik Bhaskar, Ram Lalla’s dress is going to be very special this year. He will be decorated in a ‘Pitambar’ colour dress. The 11-12 metre long southern silk cloth will have gold and silver thread stitching. The dress will also have Vaishnav symbols in it. The head of Ram Lalla will be covered with pagri having gemstones.
Ram Lalla’s dress for Dhanteras
Notably, the Ram Lalla’s dress for Dhanteras has already reached Ram Mandir on Monday. While he will wear a saffron-red coloured cloth, the dress is also stitched with decorated with silver threats. A day before Diwali, at least 28 lakh diyas will be lit for at least half an hour. The temple will be decorated with 5 lakh tonne flowers. Around two lakh diyas will be lit in the temple premises, the report added further.
Apart from these, special eco-friendly lamps will also glitter the Ram temple. As per news agency PTI, the lamps have been designed to prevent stains and soot from affecting the temple. The seers of Hunamangarhi temple also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion. They said that it was because of the PM that the temple was built. Without his support, even Praan Pratisthaa would not have been possible. They also praised Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, for allocating a “big budget for Ayodhya’s development.
Arrangements made to give a feeling of Treta Yug
According to officials, arrangements have been made to give a feeling of the Treta Yug, when events of Ramayana are believed to have taken place for visitors in Ayodhya.
