Bengaluru: The 27-year-old man living in Bengaluru was shocked when he made a surprising discovery: his cook has his own cook to prepare his meals and a house help to handle cleaning and washing up.
The man explained that he found out when he asked his cook if he knew of any maid to clean his flat. The cook suggested someone but mentioned she would charge Rs 3000 for cleaning and washing dishes. The man, surprised, noted that his previous maid only charged Rs 2000, as it’s a small 2BHK.

In response, the cook said that he lives in a 1BHK and his own house help charges him Rs 2000, while he pays his own cook Rs 2500 per person. The man was shocked, realising he had been bargaining over just Rs 1000, while his cook was willingly paying more. He humorously ended with, “Just Bangalore things”.
