New Delhi: A Patna bound Indigo flight that took off from Delhi Airport at around 7:25 in the evening failed to land in the city. The flight circled over Patna skies nine times but could not land reportedly due to bad weather.
Finally, the flight was forced back to Delhi and landed safely. The flight was in the air for over three hours after it took off from Delhi. As per flight radar data, the IndiGo flight headed back to Delhi without landing in Patna.
In a statement on X, IndiGo stated, “Hi, our goal is always to get our customers to their destination on time; however, there are times when unexpected situations arise. As checked, the flight is diverted to Lucknow due to bad weather conditions in Patna, which is beyond our control.”
