Bhavnathpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said that Palamu’s Hussainabad should be renamed Ram Nagar. He also accused the JMM-led government in Jharkhand of converting the state into ‘Dharamshala’ for Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltrators.
Addressing a public rally at Bhavnathpur constituency in Jharkhand, the CM observed that a double-engine government is needed in the state for the treatment of stone pelters and those spreading disturbances during festivals.
‘State converted as Dharamshala for illegal immigrants’
“The state has been converted into a ‘Dharamshala’ for Rohingyas and Bangladeshi infiltrators, who continue to spread anarchy,” he added. He also urged the people to stay united “Batenge to katenge, ek rahenge to safe rahege (If divided, we will be wiped out, if united, we will remain safe),” Adityanath was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
The BJP leader, while referring to the family of Shibu Soren, Gandhi family, and that of Lalu Prasad said that the three families encouraged corruption in the state. He also noted that while labourers have been forced to leave the state, farmers have also been forced to die by suicide. BJP is the only party in the state and rest of the country to guarantee the security of the country and also women’s empowerment and employment to youth, he observed further, as per the agency.
Hussainabad will be made a separate district: Himanta Sarma
In October, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had said that Hussainabad in Jharkhand’s Palamu district would be made a district if the BJP came to power after the assembly elections. He had also said that Hussainabad would be named after Lord Ram or Krishna. He also said that driving out infiltrators from the state would be the BJP’s priority if the party comes to power.
