New Delhi: Tata Group-owned online grocery platform BigBasket has introduced “Svasti Maha Kumbh Pavitra Triveni Sangam Jal”, allowing devotees to purchase sacred water from the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela directly through its mobile app. Similarly, quick-commerce platform Blinkit has also started selling “MahaKumbh Sangam Gangajal”, ensuring that those unable to attend the grand religious gathering can still receive the spiritually significant water at their doorstep.
Online shopping website Amazon is also offering “Mahakumbh – Triveni Jal” on its platform. The company is offering various types and quantities of products related to Maha Kumbh, including the “Mitti” from the holy site. The platform is selling “Mahakumbh – Triveni Jal(100 Ml) + Mitti” for Rs 121.
Sacred water now available online
The Svasti Maha Kumbh Pavitra Triveni Sangam Jal is available in 100ml bottles starting at Rs 69. For those seeking larger quantities, BigBasket is offering:

- 6x100ml pack: Rs 401.58
- 12x100ml pack: Rs 786.60
BigBasket assures that the water is authentically sourced from the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers. The product description highlights its importance in Hindu rituals, purification ceremonies, and deity worship. “Immerse yourself in the sanctity of the purest water from the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. Use Triveni Sangam Jal for poojas, ceremonies, deity cleaning, and the purification of homes and businesses,” the description read on its app.
Blinkit’s special Maha Kumbh store
Apart from offering Triveni Sangam Jal, Blinkit has gone a step further by setting up a 100 sq ft store at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. The store is strategically located to serve key areas, including Arail Tent City, Dome City, ITDC Luxury Camp, and Devrakh.
According to Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa, the store will provide essentials such as pooja items, milk, curd, fruits, vegetables, power banks, towels, blankets, and bedsheets.
“This one is a 100 sq ft store which will be delivering in Arail Tent City, Dome City, ITDC Luxury Camp, Devrakh, and other key areas of the Maha Kumbh Mela,” Dhindsa wrote on X. “Our teams are ready to deliver specially curated assortment like pooja needs, milk, curd, fruits & vegetables (for self consumption as well as for daan), chargers, power banks, towels, blankets, bedsheets and more. We’ve also got Triveni Sangam Jal bottles in stock” the Blinkit CEO added.
Other ways to get Maha Kumbh jal
For those who have friends or relatives attending the Maha Kumbh Mela, requesting them to bring back holy water is another option. Additionally, several NGOs are offering free delivery of Maha Kumbh water and prasad to devotees’ homes. Another service, “The Triveni Sangam Jal Delivery Service”, is also providing direct home delivery of sacred water from Triveni Sangam.
