OnePlus has announced its latest and upgraded OS skin based on Android 15, the OxygenOS 15. It comes with a new user experience along with a lighter version, a new design, parallel processing in animation, a Click to Search option, and a lot more. However, the most exciting addition to the OxygenOS 15 is the bunch of AI capabilities with several AI features to manage multiple tasks.

OxygenOS 15 Availability
OxygenOS 15 beta version will be available on October 30th to OnePlus 12 followed by OnePlus 13, which will be launched on October 31 in the global markets. The older devices will get the update later. OnePlus suggest that the AI features will be rolling out by the end of November 2024.

It is lighter!
OnePlus claimed that OxygenOS 15 is 20 per cent lighter than OxygenOS 14 in terms of system storage. It saves up to 5GB of storage.
Parallel Processing
What is it? OnePlus introduces animations which makes the multiple animations smooth. OnePlus explains that rapid transitions between apps or functions used to result in delays due to animation rendering. The new Parallel Processing will solve this issue while allowing multiple animations at once!
AI Features
OnePlus also introduced OxygenOS 15 with a suite of AI features, including:
AI Detail Boost – to clarify pixelated photos
AI Unblur – helps to fix blurry images
AI reflection eraser – helps to remove strong and subtle reflections
Intelligence Search – This AI-powered feature helps to search across several apps of the phone such as Settings, Files, and Notes for better search options.
Circle to Search – You might be familiar with this feature earlier introduced by Google and Samsung. The circle to Search feature lets you quickly search on your phone for anything while simply encircling it.
AI Notes – AI will help you to organise your notes and highlight key points. Moreover, it can even correct grammatical errors or adjust formality automatically.
AI Reply – It will help you to reply based on your conversation while messaging.
Pass Scan – It will help you to quickly scan papers while clicking a photo or existing documents to extract crucial information. For example, you can scan your boarding pass and Pass Scan will add it to Google Wallet for quick access. However, you need the internet to access this feature.
