OnePlus is stepping up to launch next-gen smartphones with new flagship processors and new software. Sooner than predicted, the OnePlus 13 launch is just around the corner. Ahead of it, several tipsters have leaked the OnePlus 13 images suggesting possible design improvements over its predecessor OnePlus 12.
Earlier an image surfaced on Weibo by a tipster Digital Chat Station sharing the renders of the upcoming OnePlus 13. Later, another image surfaced online showing the alleged OnePlus 13 next to the Oppo Find X8. Both images show significant design changes in the OnePlus 13 over its previous avatar.
OnePlus 13 vs OnePlus 12: Design Upgrades
OnePlus 13 is tipped to have a different kind of Hasselblad branding, showcasing the “H” logo outside the camera module. The camera module is expected to be slightly different from the OnePlus 12 without extended support with edges. It looks cleaner than before. While the OnePlus branding is still at the centre back of the phone. Moreover, the rear panel is expected to have a woodgrain-like texture look. Moreover, renders suggest it to have flat metal edges instead of a curved design.

OnePlus 13: What To Expect?
Apart from these design improvements, the OnePlus 13 is tipped to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset by Qualcomm coupled with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Moreover, it is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
For photography, the OnePlus 13 is expected to have a triple camera system at the back, including a 50 MP LYT 808 1/1.4-inch Main, 50 MP LYT 600 1/1.95-inch Periscope, and 50MP Ultrawide and a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
One of the major upgrades that is expected is the battery. The OnePlus 13 is tipped to pack a large 6000mAh or 6100mAh battery with 100W charging and 50W wireless charging. It will be a major improvement over the OnePlus 12’s 5400mAh battery. Moreover, the new OnePlus may get an IP68 or IP69 rating against dust and water splash.
The rest of the details will be confirmed with the launch of the OnePlus 13 in China. Later, it is expected to hit the Indian markets too just like its predecessors.
