Ayodhya: The three-day festival to celebrate the first anniversary of Ram Lallla’s Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir will begin today. The celebrations will continue till January 13. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the event by performing Ram Lalla’s ‘Maha Abhishek’.
After the ‘Maha Abhshek’, Yogi Adityanath will address the seers attending the event from across the country. Among other leaders who are also likely to attend the event include Deputy Chief Ministers Brajesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya.
Cultural, and religious events are to be held for three days
According to the Ram Temple Trust, several cultural and religious events will be held over three days. The events will include common people who could not attend the Prana Pratishtha ceremony last year. The trust has invited 110 VIPs. The three-day celebrations will be organized at various locations within the Ram Temple premises. The temple trust has invited 70 seers who could not attend the event last year.
As per the Temple Trust, Seers from Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, and more than 100 local seers from Ayodhya will participate in the mega celebrations. Several well-known artists including Malini Awasthi; playback singer Anuradha Paudwal, and poet Kumar Vishwas, among others will take part in the event.

Various musical groups from different states will also perform kirtans. In the next three days, Ram Katha and Ram Leela performances, along with several religious rituals, will be held. While Kumar Vishwas and Malini Awasthi will perform at Angad Teela, Jagadguru Ramanujacharya and Swami Gyananand will narrate Ram Katha in the next three days. Sapna Goyal, along with 250 other women, will recite the Sundarkand.
