Dehradun: The Dehradun police have completed preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to inaugurate the National Games. During the event, a no-fly zone will be enforced within a two-kilometer radius of the venue, meaning no drones or other flying objects will be allowed.

SSP Ajay Singh has requested the general public’s cooperation with the traffic plan during the PM’s visit. People attending the event will not be allowed to carry bottles, bags, inflammable items, or food items with them. Additionally, no taxis will be allowed on the route from Airport Tiraha to Thano during this time.

A no-fly zone will be enforced within a two-kilometer radius of the venue

The police have finalized preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s program at the National Games inauguration. During the event, a no-fly zone will be enforced within a two-kilometer radius of the venue, prohibiting drone flights. SSP Ajay Singh mentioned that a traffic plan will also be in effect during the PM’s visit, and the general public is requested to cooperate.

Elaborated traffic plan

On January 28, after 12 noon, no taxis, maxis, or cabs will be allowed from Jolly Grant Airport to Thano Road from Airport Tiraha. Only those attending the program and local residents with identity cards will be permitted entry. From 7 am to 8 pm, all types of heavy vehicles will be banned from Maldevta, Ranipokhari, Dhano, Jolly Grant, Number Six Pulya, Ladpur Tiraha, Kargi Chowk, Naya Gaon, Transport Nagar, and Laltappad.

No traffic will be allowed towards Maharana Pratap Chowk

No traffic will be allowed towards Maharana Pratap Chowk from Ladpur Tiraha, Number Six Pulya Barrier Point after 7 pm. Traffic coming from Maldevta Road will be diverted from Maldevta Road Barrier towards Kalagaon after 7 pm. No traffic will be allowed towards Soda Saroli from Maharana Pratap Chowk, Stadium Tiraha Thani Road after 7 pm. Similarly, no traffic will be allowed towards Thano, Soda Saroli, and Cricket Stadium from Bhopalpani Underpass Barrier after 7 pm.

From 6 pm, no traffic will be allowed from Ranipokhari

From 7 pm, no traffic will be allowed from Soda Saroli towards Cricket Stadium, Maharana Pratap Chowk. From 6 pm, no traffic will be allowed from Ranipokhari, SDRF Tiraha, Bhumayan Mandir Tiraha towards Thano Road. From 7 pm, no vehicles of any kind will be allowed from Maharana Pratap College Gate No. 2 towards Jolly Grant Airport. Similarly, no vehicle will be allowed to come towards Soda Saroli from Thano Chowk from 7 pm. City buses, Magic, and Vikram on Thano Road will not be allowed to go towards Maharana Pratap Chowk from Jogiwala, Number 6 Pulya, Ladpur Tiraha after 1 pm. No vehicle will be allowed to come from Maldevta towards Maharana Pratap Chowk after 2 pm.
