Wayanad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday held a review meeting on Wayanad landslide incident and the ongoing relief efforts. During the meeting, he said that the Central government will provide every possible support to help those affected by the recent landslide in Kerala’s Wayanad.

PM Modi expressed deep concern over the tragedy, saying, “We all have to come together and help the families of those who lost their lives in this disaster. The dreams of hundreds of families have been destroyed in the disaster. Nature has shown its fierce form, which I have seen by going there. I also met the affected families and heard about their pain.”

He said that he visited the hospital to meet the injured and emphasised the swift response of the authorities. “After the landslide incident in Wayanad, I immediately spoke to the Chief Minister and sent help. Everyone came forward to help in the disaster without stopping. The Government of India and the whole country are with the victims.”
