Narmadapuram: A major tragedy was averted on Monday morning after a tractor climbed on the railway track on Itarsi-Jabalpur line in Narmadapuram district of Uttar Pradesh. The loco-pilot of the Somnath Express train applied presence of mind as he saw the approaching tractor that almost got stuck on the track.
What actually happened
According to reports, the tractor climbed the railway line near Gurumkhedi village on the Itarsi-Jabalpur railway line when the Somnath Express was approaching. The tractor arrived on the track as soon as the Somnath Express approached.
Fortunately, the loco pilot’s quick thinking averted the tragedy. The Somnath Express was travelling from Itarsi to Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh.
