Sonipat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday launched a blistering attack at the Congress calling it the most deceitful and dishonest party. The Prime Minister made the remarks while addressing an election rally in Sonipat district of poll-bound Haryana.
Stepping up his attack at the Congress, the Prime Minister said that hatred towards reservation is in party’s DNA and warned the people of the state to be cautious of its “anti-reservation tactics”. “Whoever became the Prime Minister from the royal family of Congress has always opposed reservation. Opposing reservation, hatred towards reservation, is in the DNA of Congress,” he added.
Cong had handed over Haryana to ‘dalal’ and ‘damad’
The Prime Minister further said that the Congress had handed over Haryana to ‘dalal’ and ‘damad’. “The royal family of Congress is the most corrupt family and when the high command is corrupt, then the lower command gets an open license to loot. Remember, 10 years ago when there was a Congress government in Haryana, how the state was looted. Farmers’ lands were looted, the state was handed over to brokers and sons-in-law,” he said at the public rally.
‘No party more dishonest than Congress’
PM Modi said that no party in the country is more “deceitful and dishonest” than Congress. “Congress is mother of corruption. Not even a single job in Haryana earlier was given without ‘kharchi-parchi’ system…Today, Haryana ranks among country’s top states in the field of agriculture and industry under the BJP government. When industrialisation happens, poor, farmers, Dalits receive most of the benefits,” he added.
Prime Minister Modi said as the day of voting nears, the Congress is losing hope and the support for BJP is increasing day by day in the poll-bound state.
Haryana set to vote next month

The election in the state is being seen as a direct contest between the ruling BJP and opposition Congress. While the saffron party is hoping to retain power in the state for the third straight term, the Congress is seeking to make come back after a decade.
