Nagpur: Rashtriya Swansevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat visited Ram Yantram Ratha Yatra in Nagpur and offered prayers to Goddess Kanchi Kamakshi and Lord Ram. Bhawat also reviews the details of the Rama Yantram and Sri Maha Narayana Divya Rudra Sahita Shata Sahasra Chandi Vishwa Shanti Maha Yagam. During his visit, Bhagwat assured complete support from the RSS for the event and establishment of the Rama Yantram at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
He also assured his presence in Ayodhya during the 45 days of the Yagam. The vent which will begin on November 18 will go on till January 1 next year. The event aims to promote Sanatana Dharma as well as world peace. More than 1200 Vedic Ritwiks from Bharat will perform ancient rituals during the event to ‘purify the environment and inspire positive energies’.
45-day event to witness 14 Homes
The 45-day event will also witness 14 Homas and two Sharasa Chandi Homas daily. While 14 Homass will be limited to 48 couples daily, the other will be limited to two couples daily. The rituals will offer a unique opportunity for devotees to contribute to world peace, remove obstacles, ensure protection, promote health, and bestow wealth and wisdom, among others. Sharing details further, organizers said that the Yagams would offer spiritual solutions to global challenges like health, finance, and conflicts.
Programmes to begin from 8 am daily in the next 45 days
As per organisers, Yagams like Sri Laxmi Ganapati, Sudarshana, and Subrahmanya help in clearing ‘obstacles’ and ‘negativity’ in life. The programs will start at 8 am daily and continue till 9 pm daily. The daily programmes will include chanting of Chandi Saptasati by 464 and Maharudram by 144 Ritwiks. Apart from this, recitations of mantras for Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesh will also be held.
