Michael Schumacher is one of the most legendary names in Formula 1 history and even more legendary is his stint with Ferrari. Schumacher was with Ferrari from 1996 to 2006 making this the last car he ever drove. The vehicle seems invaluable and there is no particular price that we can guess it should go for but experts say that it could potentially fetch $10 million.
This eventually became one of the most successful cars to be driven by Schumacher and is called the Ferrari 248 F1, being the fifth of the eight chassis built for the 2006 season. It won the first race it entered at Imola marking the first win for Schumacher for the 2006 championship. Then it also won at the Nürburgring and got second place at the British, Canadian and Spanish GP’s ending with another pole at the United States Grand Prix. Then it also won at the French Grand Prix and retired after the Hungarian Grand Prix. The car was driven for one last time by Schumacher at Monza for Ferrari’s Mondiali celebrations.
The car was then bought by a private collector in December 2007 and it has been a part of the very same collection ever since. It sports Ferrari’s Classiche certification and was used for a few private sessions in the Fiorano circuit. It was also at display at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles in 2017 for the “Seeing Red: 70 years of Ferrari” exhibition.
