New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will announce the National Eligibility Entrance Test – Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 counselling schedule soon. Once the NEET PG counselling schedule is out, candidates will be able to check it on the official website of the committee, mcc.nic.in. The NEET PG counselling registration started on September 20. The choice filling will begin in due course of time.
Through the NEET PG counselling 2024, the All India Quota (AIQ) fresh registrations can be done in round 1, round 2 and round 3. Fresh registration is not required for the stray vacancy round.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Lakshya Mittal, national president of the United Doctors Front Association (UDFA) shared the tentative schedule of the counselling. The tweet reads, ”UPDATE: #NEETPG 2024 counselling: NEET-PG 2024 tentative counselling schedule is expected to be updated within next 2-3 days. We urge all aspirants to stay tuned for further updates. All the best.”
NEET PG Counselling 2024: Who can apply?
Candidates who have qualified for the AIQ seats based on their rank in NEET PG are eligible for the 50 per cent AIQ seats of the central university.
The documents required for NEET counselling include, NEET PG admit card, NEET PG result, NEET PG scorecard, MBBS mark sheets of the first, second, and third professional exam, MBBS provisional or degree certificate, internship completion certificate, permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI), Class 10 mark sheet and certificate, Class 12 mark sheet and certificate, valid photo-identity proof (PAN card, adhar card, voter ID, passport, driving licence) and category certificate (if candidates belong to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Caste, Orthopedic Physically Handicapped categories).
The NEET PG 2024 exam was held on August 11. The result was declared on August 23. A total of 2,28,540 candidates registered for the exam, out of which 2,16,136 candidates appeared.
