New Delhi: An elderly man urinated inside the AC coach of Sangam Express heading to Mahakumbh in Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh The shameless incident has shocked and angered passengers and officials alike. The incident happened when the express train was traveling from Meerut to Prayagraj.
The accused man went up from his seat, unzip his pant and urinated openly in front of female and elderly passengers. The man was travelling in the 3rd AC coach. The entire incident was caught on mobile phone camera by the passengers.
Video widely shared on social media
The video has been widely doing the rounds on social media. Notably, every train coach is equipped with two toilets on each side and the man committed the heinous act despite the presence of the two washrooms in the train.
In the video circulating on the social media, the man can be seen urinating in the train coach as the passengers scold him for committing the act. As passengers watched the man in horror, they could not understand on how to handle the situation. The man urinated calmly without caring for the other passengers privacy and hygiene.
‘I am from the Balian community’
However, when some people objected to the act, the man arrogantly responded saying “I am from the Balian community and a part of Rakesh Tikait’s farmers’ union. Today, this is our train.”
Sangam Express train operates between Prayagraj and Meerut. When Railway authorities contacted, they assured strict action against the culprit.
