New Delhi: A man has claimed that he found a worm in a fresh chicken packet he ordered from online commercial platform Zepto. The man identified as Ahtsham Malik, who claims to be a content creator, also shared a video on Instagram supporting his claim.
“It’s been 11 in the night..I ordered some groceries from Zepto,” Malik said while shooting the video. Malik has also tagged Zepto on Instagram saying, “Need your attention and action on this.”
‘This is unbelievable’
“This entire item came along with this chicken meat for 99. It is written here that when you open it, there will be a slight smell, but that’s fine, it happens. I washed it and put it in the pan,” Malik further stated.
Malik further added, “Now that this chicken is almost half-cooked, I took a piece out with a spoon to taste it, and I am showing you that this chicken is full of worms. This is unbelievable. Let me show you.”

Ahtesham Maik then zooms camera to the spoon to show the alleged worm in the spoon and claimed, “Look at this, it’s clearly visible. Let me show you. It’s not just one or two. This is not something to be taken lightly. This is not an issue that can just be ignored or brushed off with a simple apology. You are ordering rotten chicken and delivering it to people.”

Meanwhile, netizens have reacted to the incident and expressed their concerned.
One user said, “I experienced the same thing, it’s not the fault of blinkit or zepto, but the brand. I didn’t even give it to my dog.”
Another user said, “I saw the same thing while ordering prawns. My stomach was upset for two days after eating those.”
One user suggested not to but from meat 99 saying they have quality issues.
