Mumbai: A major fire broke out in Times Tower, a multi-storey commercial building in Mumbai on Friday morning.
The building is located in Lower Parel’s Kamala Mill compound. The fire broke out around 6.30 am. At least eight tenders have been rushed to the spot and the officials have declared it a level two (major) fire. Fire fighting operations are currently underway.
No injuries have been reported in the incident so far. Visuals from the spot showed several floors of the building engulfed in flamed with tall plumes of smoke emerging.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
