Mumbai: Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena has announced its second list of 20 candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Among the nominees, Sanjay Nirupam is set to contest from Dindoshi, while Nilesh Rane, son of Narayan Rane, has been given a ticket from Kudal. The party has also fielded Murji Patel from Andheri East and Rajendra Gavit from Palghar.
According to the second list from the Shinde faction, Amashya Padvi has been announced as the candidate for Aklakkuwa, while Baliram Sirskar will contest from Balapur, where he will face Nitin Deshmukh, the MLA from the Thackeray faction. Additionally, Bhavana Gawli has been nominated for Risod.
Recently, Bhavana Gawli joined the Legislative Council after winning a seat. However, she expressed dissatisfaction for not being given an opportunity in the Lok Sabha.
