Hundreds on track after minor girls sexually abused
Reports said that hundreds of people were squatting on the railway tracks. Earlier the protestors, mostly parents of the kids who study in the school where the incident took place, had given a call for a ‘bandh’ in the city.
The parents’ anger was also directed at the school administration. They were asking the authorities to dismiss the principal of the school. The parents also held a protest outside the school building and asked the school administration to take strict action in this regard.
Meanwhile the police have already arrested the accused in the case. Reports said that the parents’ protest was quite sudden. They reached the school early morning on Tuesday and started to protest. When the school authorities ordered the gates to be closed, this further enraged the protesting parents and they started to raise slogans against the school administration.
The parents have alleged that the girls studying in the school are not safe. According to them, even after 4 days of the incident, the school has not taken any action and neither have they informed parents about what steps they plan to take in order to curb such incidents in the future. The parents are demanding an apology from the school and also want them to assure that their kids will be safe inside the premises.
