New Delhi: The Maha Vikas Aghadi on Sunday released its poll manifesto for the Maharashtra Assembly Elections that are to be held on November 20.
The manifesto promises a monthly assistance of up to Rs 4,000 per month for unemployed youth. It also promises to provide monthly grant of Rs 3,000 per month to women if MVA forms the government. This amount would be given to economically disadvantaged women under the Mahalakshmi Scheme. Women will also receive free bus service.
As per the manifesto, Mahatma Jan Aarogya Yojna will be expanded. The party also promises to waive the loan of farmers of up to Rs 3 lakh. The alliance also promises health insurance of Rs 25 lakh for the uncovered section of the population, as well as providing free medicines.
The manifesto was unveiled by Congress president Malikarjun Kharge in the presence of state’s party president Nana Patole and general secretary K C Venugopal.
‘Five pillars for progress, development of Maharashtra’
“…We have five pillars for the progress and development of Maharashtra based on farming and rural development, Industry and employment, Urban development, environment, and public welfare,” said Kharge, while launching the manifesto. MVA’s manifesto highlights all-inclusive growth and upgradation of rural and urban development and agriculture, he said.
