Prayagraj: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and former President Ram Nath Kovind are set to visit Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj.
Rajnath Singh will arrive in the area by helicopter around 12.30 pm, where he will stay till the evening. At the same time, former President Ram Nath Kovind will also be visiting Prayagraj to attend a seminar organized by the Divya Prem Seva Mission.
Rajnath Singh’s visit
Rajnath Singh will arrive at Mahakumbh by helicopter at around 12.30 pm. During his time at Maha Kumbh, the Defence Minister will meet with several saints and may also take a holy dip in the sacred Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and the mythical Sarasvati River. Triveni Sangam is one of the most important and spiritual spots for pilgrims during Kumbh Mela.
In addition to his spiritual visit, Rajnath Singh will take stock of the arrangements and preparations being made for the event. This includes ensuring that the infrastructure and security measures are in place to manage the massive crowd that attends the Mahakumbh. Following his visit, the Defence Minister is scheduled to attend a marriage ceremony organised in Prayagraj in the evening.
The administration has ensured that all necessary security measures and preparations are in place for his visit. After his time in Prayagraj, Rajnath Singh will travel to Jaunpur the following day.
Ram Nath Kovind’s visit
Former President Ram Nath Kovind is also scheduled to visit Maha Kumbh. Kovind will attend a seminar on the theme “One Country, One Election,” where he will serve as the chief guest. This seminar is being organized by Divya Prem Seva Mission, based in Haridwar, and will be held in Sector 9 of the Mahakumbh area.
The seminar aims to discuss the importance of having a single election for all levels of government in India, which has been a topic of much debate recently. All preparations for Kovind’s visit have been completed.
