New Delhi: The war of words between comedian Kunal Kamra and Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal is apparently far from over. Responding to the renowned entrepreneur’s job offer, the 36-year-old performer on Monday (October 28, 2024) took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to officially accept the opportunity.
Kunal wrote that he had no choice but to accept Bhavish’s offer to work with Ola. He stated that he already felt like an Ola employee after being tagged thousands of times on social media.
As Kunal looks forward to joining the company, his collaboration comes with a list of conditions. He mentioned that Ola can seal this deal by committing to the specified action points.
Concerned over the ‘service crisis’ at Ola Electric, Kunal has demanded their commitment to resolve it at the earliest. He has also asked the electric two-wheeler manufacturer to pledge to complete all scooter repairs within seven days once a request is raised at authorised service centers.

And there’s more! Kunal has also asked for a replacement scooter or a daily conveyance reimbursement of Rs 500 per day if repairs extend beyond the seven-day period. “Additionally, customers will earn Rs 500 per delayed day (up to Rs 50,000),” he wrote.
Will Bhavish respond to Kunal’s conditions?
Kunal’s concluding condition was that every new Ola Electric scooter must be sold with two types of insurance, one for the vehicle itself and one for their services, with the latter provided free od cost to the customer. Within a few hours, his tweet garnered numerous likes and comments on the microblogging platform. Now, it would be really interesting to see how Bhavish responds to these conditions.
