New York: An Indian-origin man based out of New York took to LinkedIn to detail how he finally got a job offer from Tesla. He spoke of his strenuous struggle and encouraged job seekers to keep trying and manifesting for their dream jobs. His post motivated many on the platform.
Dhruv Loya, a Biomedical Engineering graduate from the University at Buffalo, disclosed the formula that eventually landed him his dream job at Tesla as a Technical Support Specialist. Loya divulged that he sent “300+ applications, 500+ cold emails” during the job hunting period. Sharing his achievement with his LinkedIn followers, the man joyously wrote, “I finally got a job.” In his post, the young man revealed that he had been unemployed for five months and was constantly tormented by the thoughts of running out of time. “I lost my lease, my health insurance, and constantly felt the ticking clock of my visa status, knowing I could be forced to leave the U.S. at any moment,” said Loya.

Further in the post, Loya advised students to treat job hunting like a 9-5 job. He told them to unwind in the weekends as it might be emotionally draining. He also recommended the use of ChatGPT for cover letters and resumes, Hunter.io for cold emailing, etc. Loya concluded the post by stating, “Just keep manifesting, stay positive, and believe that things will fall into place!”
