New Delhi: India are playing their second group stage match in the Emerging Asia Cup against UAE in Al Amerat Cricket Ground, Oman on October 21, Monday. UAE won the toss and elected to bat first, but Indian bowlers didn’t take time to settle as they removed UAE openers in the first two overs of the match.
Salam came to bowl the last over of the powerplay, before Salam was introduced in the match, UAE scored 10 runs in the last over but Salam had some other plans as he removed Nilansh Keswani in his first ball. Keswani attempted to take on Rasikh on the first ball and tried an Ariel shot but was caught by Vaibhav Arora.
After the wicket of Keswani, On the second ball of the over, Salam bowled a beautiful outswinger to Vishnu Sukumaran. Sukumaran edged the ball to the keeper and Prabhsimran took a magnificent catch behind the stumps. Salam was on a hat-trick but Syed Haider Shah defended the hat-trick ball.

Salam didn’t stop there, he bowled a peach of a delivery to Haider and bowled him. Salam helped Men in Blue to send UAE’s half side to the pavilion under the powerplay.
UAE bundled out for 107
Indian bowlers did a great job in the second group stage match in the Emerging Asia Cup as they bundled out UAE for just 107 runs. Rasikh Salam was the pick of the attack as he took three important wickets in the match. Ramandeep also did a handy job with the ball as he got two wickets for India. Men in Blue were dominant on the UAE side.
Rahul Chopra played a gusty knock of 50 runs in 50 balls, he held one side but the wickets fell from the other end. In the end, UAE skipper Basil Hameed took charge on the Indian bowlers as he scored 22 runs in just 12 balls but Abhishek Sharma trapped him in the end.
