Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is set to appear before the Lokayukta for questioning on Wednesday regarding the Mysuru land scam case. The Lokayukta Police have previously interrogated his wife, Parvathi BM, in relation to the investigation.
The Lokayukta has concluded the trial for all the accused in the case, leaving only Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s trial pending. A notice has now been issued for the accused A1 to attend the inquiry as well. This marks the first time Siddaramaiah, who has been in politics for nearly 40 years, will face an inquiry as an accused. He now finds himself in a challenging situation, having never before been required to appear before the Lokayukta throughout his lengthy political career.
