New Delhi: Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate two state-of-the-art Vande Bharat Express trains, set to debut on September 15, ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in Jharkhand.
The news comes on the heels of the highly anticipated launch of a new Vande Bharat Express route, connecting Jamshedpur/Tatanagar in Jharkhand to Patna in Bihar. This ultra-modern train, known for its speed and comfort, will cut travel time between the two cities from 10-11 hours to a mere six to seven hours at 130-160 km/h speed.
With the additional two Vande Bharat trains, the total number of Vande Bharat will be three. One train will operate from Jamshedpur, while the second will operate between Jamshedpur and Puri.
Preparations are in full swing, with the rakes for both new Vande Bharat Express trains already arriving in Chakradharpur, Jharkhand. Trial runs are scheduled to take place on both routes, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for passengers.
Ahead of the launch date, the local staff are undergoing extensive training to ensure the highest standards of safety and maintenance, guaranteeing a comfortable and safe journey for every passenger.
While the exact schedule for the new Vande Bharat Express trains is yet to be released the preparation are continuing in the state for the successful operation. The first one is already operating between Ranchi and Howrah.
