Voter turnout
The two-phase Jharkhand elections recorded a voter turnout of 67.74 per cent, marking a rise of 1.65 per cent compared to 2019. Chief Electoral Officer K Ravi Kumar highlighted the significant participation of women voters, who outnumbered men in 68 of the 81 constituencies. According to officials, over 91.16 lakh women cast their votes, exceeding the male voter count by 5.52 lakh. The polling, held on November 13 for 43 seats and November 20 for 38 seats, saw more than 1.76 crore of the 2.61 crore registered voters exercise their franchise, including 1.29 crore women.
