New Delhi: Bollywood couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s alleged separation has been the talk of the town currently. While the duo remain tight-lipped about their relationship status, rumours are rife that the Bunty Aur Babli actor allegedly cheated on the former Miss World with actress Nimrat Kaur. For the unversed, a Reddit post went viral some time back indicating at the real reason for Abhishek and Aishwarya’s separation.

Nimrat Kaur FINALLY breaks silence
As reported by The Times of India, Nimrat set the record straight on dating Abhishek and said that she is currently focusing on her work. “I could have done anything, and people would still say what they want. It is not possible to stop such gossip, and I prefer to focus on my work,” she added.
For those who do not know, Nimrat and Abhishek shared the screen space in the 2022 film Dasvi, released on the OTT giant Netflix. In the film, the duo play the role of a married couple. The story of Dasvi is about a corrupt and uneducated politician, who lands in jail through police efforts. While behind bars, he realises the importance of education and chooses to pursue his 10th-grade diploma.
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s divorce
The news of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s divorce has been swirling around Tinseltown for over a year now. Last year, a report by Times Now stated that the Ponniyin Selvan: I actress moved out of the Bachchan house with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. In July, the couple arrived separately at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s much-talked-about wedding. However, several inside videos showed the couple seated together as they enjoyed the wedding festivities.
On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming film I Want to Talk. The project marks their first collaboration.
