With iOS 18.1, Apple will roll out a few crucial AI features which include:

- Create a Memory movie in Photos
- Natural Language Search in Photos
- Notification summaries
- Reduce Interruptions Focus
- Intelligent Breakthrough & Silencing in Focus
- Priority messages in Mail
- Smart Reply in Mail and Messages
- Summaries in Mail and Messages
- Siri enhancements such as new look and feel along with product knowledge. It will also have a more natural voice.
How to update your iPhone to the latest version?
Once available, you will need to update your iPhone to the latest version to be able to access Apple Intelligence along with some tweaks in the settings. Make sure that you have either of these iPhones – iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max along with 4GB of RAM and more.
- To update your iPhone, go to the Settings app
- Tap General and click on the Software Update (if available).
- Click on Install Now and download the latest version.
- Once iOS 18.1 is updated (whenever available), you will need to make sure that Device Language and Siri Language are set to English (US) as it is the currently supported language for Apple Intelligence.
Apple claims to bring the support for English (Australia), English (Canada), English (New Zealand), English (South Africa) and English (UK) in December 2024. While other languages such as Chinese, English (India), English (Singapore), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese and others will be added to the supported languages over the course of the next year.
