New Delhi: Despite heavy rainfall, a resolute crowd of AAP leaders, workers, and supporters gathered outside Tihar Jail on Friday evening to welcome Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal. As he emerged from the jail, the crowd responded with loud applause and cheers. Clad in a blue shirt, Kejriwal waved to his supporters before addressing them from the roof of a car. Similar scenes of celebration were seen outside his home, where even more supporters had assembled to greet their leader. Earlier in the day, Kejriwal was granted bail by the Supreme Court in a case related to now-scrapped Delhi excise policy.
